Deli Manager




As the Deli Manager you are the leading individual in the performance of the delicatessen. This person must ensure the Fresh Food Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and services. As Deli manager all deli store assistants will report to you. You will ensure that  duties and functions of staff members are carried out effectively and efficiently and to the highest standard of customer service is given to all customers at all times.

Also as within a managerial role you will be responsible for weekly stocktaking procedures while also ensuring purchasing of stock is carried out in accordance with procedures and control of stock rotation, so that quality and freshness of goods is of the highest standards so as to maximise turnover in order to monitor and control department overheads.

In order to be a deli manager this individual needs to maintain quality procedures and focus on continuous improvement and ultimately seek to enhance product knowledge by gaining information from a range of sources and to share this product knowledge with staff and customers.
While performing any other duties as directed to you by  store manager from time to time.
