Commenting at the awards Martin Kellher noted " The excellence Ireland Hygiene Certificate is  independent verification of the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the food business. " Jordan's Centra demonstrate Centra's commitment to rigorous quality measures and the highest of standards and excellence in customer care." Centra retailers are consistantly achieving the highest retail standards"

Delighted with the awards, store owner, Alan Jordan paid tribute to his team and said that their dedication, enthusiasm and professional approach was what guaranteed the Hygiene and Quality Award for the three Kildare stores.

This hygiene mark indicates that our business complies with the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in our industry. For all three stores in Kildare to achieve this standard is a real endorsement to the work that our team put in on a daily basis, to ensure our customers receive quality fresh product in a top class store environment. Jordan's Centra stores have a well-deserved reputation for high standards of hygiene and quality, however these are not just an add on to what we do, but very much part of our everyday routine.”

Annually the Jordan Group supports the charity GOAL in order to raise funds for the developing world.  Over the past three years, the GOAL mile has grown to become one of Jordan’s Centra’s most popular annual fundraiser. This year more than 100 people turned up to run a mile to raise funds for GOAL. For all those who took part in the GOAL mile thank-you for taking the time to help us raise money for work in the developing world.
